Cross-border proceedings rarely fail on the law. They fail because it is settled too late which court has jurisdiction and in which language the case is heard. HÖLLWARTH advises in German and English, brings in sworn interpreters for further languages and works with partner firms throughout Europe where a matter reaches beyond Austria.

The firm arranges the interpreter, as a rule court-sworn. This service is charged for and is billed in addition to the consultation fee; the guide rate is 210 € including 20 % VAT per hour. So that an appointment can be held in your language, please say so in advance. Interpretation cannot be arranged at short notice.

For proceedings outside Austria the firm works together with partner firms throughout Europe. The lead stays in Vienna: one contact coordinates, instead of clients having to navigate unfamiliar legal systems themselves.
Conversely, the firm takes on the Austrian side when colleagues from abroad need representation before Austrian courts and authorities.
