Terms of Consultation
This is a courtesy translation. In case of doubt, the German version of this text applies.
What the consultation is
The consultation is without obligation for both sides and does not mean that an engagement is accepted. Irrespective of this, the conversation is subject to absolute lawyer’s duty of confidentiality, so you can be sure that nothing from this conversation will reach the outside.
The aim of the conversation is to give you guidance and to clarify together with you which options are available to you. The possible ways of structuring the fee are also discussed. No review of contracts takes place, nor is there a written summary.
Duration
45 minutes.
Format
Online: via Zoom. You will receive the access link with the appointment confirmation. A Zoom account is not required for this.
At the firm: Garnisongasse 11/1 (mezzanine), 1090 Wien. Appointments at the firm can be booked Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 21:00.
Language
The contract language is German. The consultation itself can be held in English on request.
Fee
A flat fee applies. All amounts are inclusive of 20 % USt (VAT).

The amount that applies in each case is shown to you before the booking is completed.
Payment
The fee is to be paid on site. Cash, credit card and Bankomatkarte (Austrian debit card) are possible.
Legal expenses insurance
You can submit the paid fee note to your legal expenses insurer; very often the amount, or part of it, is reimbursed. As part of the initial consultation, no request for cover is made to your legal expenses insurer. A request for cover can be commissioned separately; it is subject to a fee.
Cancellation
A booked appointment can be cancelled free of charge up to six hours before the agreed start via the link in the appointment confirmation. After that, cancellation via this link is no longer possible; in that case please contact the firm by telephone.
Right of withdrawal
Bookings made through this website are distance contracts. Details of the right of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form can be found in the Rücktrittsbelehrung (instructions on the right of withdrawal).
